“ First time here to try something new and I’m very happy. Service is great. Food is simple, authentic and tasty. I’m so glad this isn’t another texmex place. This is the kinda food you’d get at home (speaking as a Hispanic). I got the quesadilla/w chorizo, rice & beans and my husband got the carne asada, rice & beans w/tortillas. Get a load of the size of the carne asada! He was happy. Also the hibiscus tea was perfect. ”

“ Trying another local joint. This little hole in the wall is definitely closer to back home(956 RGV/MX border). It has a small menu and a handful of tables to sit at but totally worth it. The flavor on their meat is top notch and the street tacos are filled to the brim. We ate, sang along to the tejano music, drank Mexican Cokes and watched the older lady behind the counter make tortillas from scratch. Very friendly staff, clean, and the salsa is actually spicy(that's a first so far up here). We will definitely be back. ”

“ I came here because they had machetes on the menu. You just don't see that very often. The place was very busy with lots of people coming in and out. It's a small place so there's not a lot of seating inside other than about 10 tables. I just have to say that the machete was under-seasoned. we went with the pollo it just needed a little more seasoning. I've got the salsas they serve with it were also lacking salt. Also, try to bacon breakfast taco because the bacon looked crispy. My main thought is that they must've been out of salt the day I came because somebody doesn't know how to use a salt shaker around here. Just my opinion. They seem to have lots of business and people seem to like the place. I'm just looking for a place that serves a really good machete. I did not find it here. ”

“ Absolutely fantastic food for super reasonable prices. They’ll custom make anything you like that they have and I didn’t really want any bread/rice/potatoes so they made it exactly the way I asked. The others had their sandwiches and everything was super filling. Will be a repeat customer here, 100%! ”

“ A small but good taco spot in the Tomball area. Lots of authentic options and the cuts of meat are pretty good for the price. I do wish the portions were a bit bigger, but it’s the best taco place near historic downtown Tomball. They also didn’t have a few of the meat options we wanted when we came in. There’s a decent amount of indoor seating, located next to a gas station. Overall not a bad place if you’re looking for authentic Mexican tacos and are in the area. ”
